Ph.D. in Spanish Language & Literature
I hold a Ph.D. in Spanish Language & Literature and have been teaching and tutoring Spanish for over 25 years. My approach is rooted in real communication, and I adapt every session to your specific goals.
I'm based in Northern Virginia and offer sessions in person or via Zoom.
Beyond the classroom
Outside of tutoring, I teach AP Spanish and Spanish III at Yorktown High School in Arlington, VA. I also teach at night for Northern Virginia Community College. I enjoy covering grammar deep-dives, cultural insights and vocabulary that textbooks tend to skip.
